baptism

Life to the fullest starts here!

Baptism is an important next step of obedience that shows others we have personally trusted Jesus for our salvation.

It's an outward expression of an inward decision to put our faith in Jesus.

When Christians are baptized, they are submerged under water to identify with the death and burial of Jesus and raised out of the water to identify with his resurrection.

Baby dedication

Throughout the year we have Child Dedications during our Sunday morning services. Our Child dedications are a time of celebration, where we commission parents to set a healthy example for their child as they grow up. At Lighthouse, Child Dedications are an expression of our desire to empower parents to raise up the next generation of Christ followers. During the dedication, the parents and the child are invited to the stage where there is a brief time of prayer and dedication.

We believe this is the example of Jesus: He was dedicated as an infant by his parents (Luke 2.22-40), and baptized later as an adult (Matthew 3.16-17).

We recommend children be 11 years of age or younger for child dedication.
